The chaos of Targassonne
"the traveller who goes in Cerdagne would make a great mistake if it were not going to admire this wonder of majestic desolation" wrote, in 1896, Emmanuel Brousse in his book
La Cerdagne française evoking these fields of rocks forgotten by the Quaternary glaciers.
Many have a name, like "barratas" (enormous hat) or "Napoleon's hat", or "the eagle".
The Chaos had also its utility since it was used of "shopping basket" to the stone cutters.
